Posting: The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer's Support Group day. Post your thoughts on you own blog. Talk about your doubts and the fears you have conquered. Discuss your struggles and triumphs. Offer a word of encouragement for others who are struggling.  Visit others in the group and connect with your fellow writer - aim for a dozen new people each time.  Be sure to link to IWSG page and display the badge in your post.

Thank you to our host, Alex J. Cavanaugh and today's co-hosts: C. Lee McKenzie, Tracy Jo, Melanie Schulz, and LG Keltner.   Please stop by their sites and thank them for helping today.

I may be taking on too much...

But it could be my nerves. I'm in a boxed set group due to be released in about two weeks and it's A LOT of work. Maybe it's because we're doing this for the first time and organizing everyone does take a bit of skill and patience and we're all learning as we go along. As draining as it is, we have an opportunity to find new audience and widen our readership.

Having said that, my writing has suffered a bit. I had to delay a release from June to July (but at least that's organized) and my next one will have to be in September instead of August. So my original plan to have 10 novels out this year may be difficult to keep. So far I'll have my fourth one out in July. At this rate I'll only be able to do 7 or 8. I'm seriously considering hiring someone as a VA (Virtual Assistant), but finding someone you can trust with all your work is not easy.

I know the amount of work I'm doing is a lot. But I'm known to put a lot of pressure on myself since it's the best way for me to keep on track. Because of staying so focused and busy, I've learned more in the past couple of months than I have in the past 2 years. And I have to say, no matter how busy I get, I still love it.

What are your insecurities this month? Are you on track to meeting your goals? We're almost half way through the year :)
