Y is for Yacht
(A-Z Theme: Changes through history)
Yacht (n): 1.a vessel used for private cruising, racing, or other noncommercial purposes.
When I think of a yacht, the first one that comes into my mind is from Pirates of the Caribbean.
Here's a similar one:
I believe this one is/was owned by Tiger Woods.
Don't know who owns this one, but it's sure nice.
A concept of a yacht in the future, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone already owned it.
This, is my yacht :D (not really) I call her Jaws :P
Do you own a yacht? Do you like boating? Not a fan of water?

Princess Yachts are based in Plymouth, and we often get held up as massive (and very beautiful) yachts are transported out of town by road.
I don't think I'd ever need to own one, but I'd love to make friends with someone who does :-)
The yacht I'd want is a little out of my price range.
This is a subject I very nearly chose for "Y", Yachting in Africa. I and my children used to live on one in Durban quite some time ago, a great lifestyle. My sport of choice, absolutely love sailing, not motor boats though, I like the wind.
Blessings, Geoff.
I'm a water girl, but don't much care about yachts. I love looking at them in the marinas, though. I like your yacht. That'd be mine!

I like that futuristic one. I don't think I've ever been on a yacht, just admired them in marinas and in the movies.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the nice comment.

I live by the water and can't imagine the other way.
I love riding on a fast boat! The yacht of the future looks pretty darn cool! I do not own a boat, but my boys want to own one, so maybe one of them will take me on some oceanic adventures. Over from A to Z saying hi. Can you believe it's over in two days?
Your yacht is awesome!!
I also love the old world yachts. There's something about sails.
I'd love to ride on a yacht, even if it's a smaller one. Yachts make me think of the "Rio" music video. I've been on a few boat rides, off the coast of Maine, around Cape Cod, and on Lake George.
