Writer's Block Party!

WORD FOR THIS POST:

Kratos (n) (mythology): the son of Pallas and Styx, and the personification of strength and power.

I know it's an odd word for today, but I'm reading "The Red Pyramid" by Rick Riordan and it reminded me of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, hence the word.

Today I have the pleasure of being interviewed at the Writer's Block Party. I always feel so giggly inside when I think about being interviewed.Like a little kid who just got some candy.

In the works this week: second novel, some reading, a video for A-Z Challenge (how did I get myself into this again?), and finally caught up on outstanding marketing. If I pull this video off, I will graciously call myself a genius. Believe me, it's not a big deal for all the wizards of the youtube and video-making, but I just opened my Windows Live Movie Maker yesterday and I may as well have been reading Chinese (no, I don't speak Chinese).

On top of that, trying to figure out which stock photos I can use and not infringe on any rights, because my "original" idea of music bands isn't going too well. I was hoping to "Dance, hop, pop and rock" that challenge, but don't think I can. We'll see. I will have to do more research on that.

Hope you visit me at the Party and enjoy!

Glad you're going to have a video for the Challenge!

You A-Z video folks are braver --or perhaps just more tech-savvy-- than I am. Heck, I still write in longhand on legal pads half the time.

I couldn't make a video to save my life, but it's awesome watching them all!

Alex, me too - but very nervous.

Kelly, believe me, I'm not tech savvy. Just trying to push my own boundaries.

Matt, I don't know if I'll be able to pull it off, but so far it's looking not too bad:)

Hi, Marta, thanks for finding me through Matt's blog! I went over to Writer's Block Party but couldn't find the comment link for some reason... it's been a very long day :) Enjoyed the interview!

Welcome Alexia. I'm glad you enjoyed the interview. You're brave to have your query critiqued in front of everyone - I don't think I could do that :o

sorry for the delay in visiting. My laptop had to be replaced. I've been loading stuff for the last 24 hours. Ugh. Good luck with all that. I'm off to check out the video challenge.

I wish you all the best for the A-Z video challenge. I'm not game even though I used to do that sort of thing for a living hahaha.

Sounds like you have a lot going on. New technology things are so necessary but they make my shoulders tense just thinking about it. Way to go you for taking on the challenge.
