A-Z Video Challenge

I know this is an unscheduled post, but it's not too long:)
As you will notice at the A-Z April Challenge site, my first video is up:)
Yay!
I'm very proud of it, as before January 17th I never even opened Windows Movie Maker. With some playing around, this was the result.

Now, with some great stock photos I'm pretty sure I'd be able to make trailers for my books so I'm very happy I did this challenge. Not that I'll do the trailers now (in full editing mode now), but certainly in the future.

Learning every day!

Are you joining the Challenge?

That was really great, Marta!
Just what is a cat's motivation, huh?

Wow - that was great, Marta. I'm planning to do the April Challange, but when I saw the word 'video' last week, I sort of switched off. I'm off to figure out if I've got this jiggery-pokery on my laptop!

Thanks Alex! There's an imaginary bird caged on the other side of the window.

Thanks Annalisa. I was very scared of doing the video, but it wasn't as bad as I thought.

Cheers and good to meet you - Hilary

I tried. Not as good as yours, and a lot less pictures, but there's so much to play with! I love it. Thanks for mentioning it, or I'd never have known it was there!

Ciara - thank you.

Hilary - Welcome to my blog.

Annalisa - I know, if not for the challenge I wouldn't know it existed.

Looks great! Glad to see an entry into the challenge. Are you logging yours in too, Annalisa? I know that Lee is looking for some to get this thing rolling.
Don't forget, the video challenge is not the same as the April A-Z Blogging Challenge. Some people seem to be confusing/merging the two.

I'm so impressed! Your video is brilliant!

The video looks so cool on your site. I've added the link to it on a list that's on a tabbed page at the A to Z Blog so maybe you'll start getting hits on YouTube for it. You did a great job with this.

Can't believe this was your first video! I've never even considered trying...seemed too complicated. You've inspired me!
It's nice to meet you, Marta. I liked what you said in your "about me" regarding sarcastic humor. That's my favorite. I usually tell people that sarcasm is my super-power...saw a shirt you might like:

Sarcasm is the body's defense against stupid

and a bumper sticker:

Service with a smile, sarcasm for free!

Nice to meet you too Tina! It's less complicated than I expected.
If you can cut/paste, insert photos, you can do it!
The more difficult part was finding pictures and music I could use (royalty free) from the web.
Ended up throwing in some family ones, which I think worked pretty well.

Great video, Marta!
And it's your first attempt? Wow!
I admire you for being so brave to take the plunge...
... yes, I'm definitely joining the A-Z Challenge! It will be my second time.
Nice to meet you.

Good job!

I don't do the A to Z, but I write anyway. :-)

Great video! Really good point that it could help someone feel more comfortable making a book trailer. I'm nervous of getting to that point, myself. I figured I'd pawn it off on my computer geek hubby. :D

I loved the video, particularly the relaxing (toes in beach) and the Safe ( plane of water with people on wings. It's not something I'm sure I could do, but I may have a look into it after seeing this.

I'm hopefully doing the A-Z challenge. I did it last year and loved it.
